Here’s the good news: you don’t have to settle. At Fairytale Dances, our choreographers and chambelanes travel from Los Angeles to families anywhere in the USA. We’ve already danced in 19 states plus Washington DC, and that’s only where we’ve been so far, not a limit on where we’ll go. Here’s exactly how bringing a quince choreographer to your city works.
Why families bring a choreographer from out of state
Every family has its own reason, but we hear the same few again and again:
- There’s no quinceañera choreographer nearby. In many cities, there simply isn’t anyone who specializes in quince dances.
- They want a specific style. Families who’ve watched our videos want that same polished entrance, elegant waltz and high-energy surprise dance for their daughter.
- They need chambelanes. Finding committed young men for the court is one of the hardest parts of planning, and our professional chambelanes can travel too.
- They want less stress. One team that handles the choreography, the music editing and the event-day support is a lot easier than piecing it together.
Option 1: Choreography travel (we teach your court)
If your quinceañera already has her court, our choreography travel package brings a choreographer to you.
How it works: a choreographer comes to your city for 5 days of rehearsals, 3 to 4 hours each, and creates custom choreography with your court. We’re experienced professionals who can teach a court in a short time, and we shape the choreography around what your court does best.
What’s included:
- Entrance (practiced at the venue)
- Waltz
- Surprise Dance Mix (up to 4 songs)
- Music editing for every song
- Venue rehearsal (if available)
- Timeline assistance (if needed)
- A choreographer or representative at the event
The choreography travel package starts at $2,800, with all travel expenses included. That means you’re not booking our flights or hotel separately.
Option 2: Chambelán travel (we bring the court)
If finding chambelanes is the challenge, our chambelán travel package sends our own professional chambelanes to your event.
How it works: our chambelanes start on your dances 8 weeks before the event. We send you weekly practice videos and check in on Zoom, so your quinceañera learns her part at home. Then the chambelanes join you in person for full-day rehearsals on the Thursday and Friday of the event week.
What’s included:
- Entrance and Waltz
- Surprise Dance Mix (up to 3 songs)
- Black suits (other suit colors available to choose from) and Surprise Dance outfits
- Music editing for every song
- Timeline assistance (if needed)
- A choreographer or representative at the event
All of our chambelanes and damas for hire are 13 to 18 years old. They’re courteous, polished and well-mannered, and they train weekly at our studio, so your court shows up committed. The chambelán travel package starts at $3,500, with all travel expenses included.
When should you book?
As soon as you have a date. If you’re bringing our chambelanes, we start working on your dances 8 weeks before the event, so you’ll want to book before that point. Booking early also gives you the best chance at the travel dates you want.
A retainer holds your date, and for travel chambelanes the rest is split into monthly payments leading up to the event. Text us and we’ll walk you through the schedule for your date.
Will the dances really be custom?
Yes. Traveling doesn’t mean a one-size-fits-all routine. Every dance is built around the music the quinceañera picks and the strengths of her court, and we can choreograph any well-known dance genre.
